I am a Transport Engineer with a specialization in mobility and design of transport systems, metro, and infrastructures. Over the course of my professional career, I have studied and visited more than 40 metro systems in 20 countries across 4 continents.

I began my training in Chile, where I received a solid education in transport engineering and transit. Later, I specialized in Urban Development Planning in Beijing and Control and Information Systems for Railways CBTC in Shanghai. I also obtained a Master's degree in Urbanism from the University of Chile and I am currently a PhD candidate in Territory, Space, and Society (TES) in the research line of Mobility at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the same university.

As a researcher at the Millennium Nucleus for Mobility and Territories (MOVYT), I have had the opportunity to develop research projects in key areas of transport, such as planning, design, and management of transport systems, as well as optimization of their operation.

I have worked as a professor of transport engineering, road design, road management, and transport technologies at UTEM and UNAB, as well as on consultancy projects for the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), transportation and housing ministries, public and private companies.

Throughout my career, I have participated in the design of railway stations, metros, airports, roads, and bike paths, as well as in the development of plans, guides, and technical manuals. My experience has enabled me to develop skills to approach the planning, design, and management of transport systems in a holistic manner, ensuring a strategic and comprehensive vision of the mobility needs of the population.

I am a member of the Chilean Society of Transport Engineers (SOCHITRAN), the Railway Institute, and the Muevete collective. My professional focus is centered on the application of innovative and sustainable approaches in transport to improve the quality of life of people, promote sustainable urban development, and support the economy of cities.
